Happy Happy Birthday!

January/February were busy months for Birthdays. My mom's birthday was the 17th, our niece, Jordan's, was on the 18th, and then Chad's God-daughter's birthday was February 6th. I finally got to use my new toy, Cricut Create, to make the cards. I actually only used them to cut out the names for the two cards but I still had a great time using it. My mom's card is my first attempt at a quilt card. I messed up in a few spots but all in all it's not too bad. I hope you enjoy!

Love is in the Air!

With Valentines Day just around the corner I decided to be ahead of the game and actually work on cards for the upcoming holiday in advance instead of the day before! I'm usually way behind on my projects, especially Christmas cards, and thought that maybe I should get my poop in a group for once. Here are the two cards I made over the weekend. I just love this stamp set. It's called Love You Much and it's from Stampin Up! (of course). I'm also absolutely in LOVE with this new DSP. It's from the Occaisions Mini Catalog and it's called Sending Love. It's adorable!!

White Chocolate Cranberry Blondies-Yummo!

Last Fall I participated in a bake off for the United Way Campaign at work. The participants were to bring their baked goods in to be judged and then once the judging was complete the goodies were divided up to be sold in the bake sale. Well, my White Chocolate Cranberry Blondies won in the Cookie and Bar category! I was so excited! I never win anything!! The prize was a gift card to a local Gourmet cooking store and a really cute fall serving tray. Even though the bake off was last fall I still wanted to upload the pictures because it was a really great time for me and I had even more fun taking pictures of the mess I made. Enjoy!

Crafting in the Cold

Well, I'm feeling pretty crafty today. I got my Cricut Create about 2 days ago and so far I'm loving it. I keep going over and over the crazy things I can do now in my head and it's almost overwhelming!! I can't wait to get some vinyl and try doing some projects w/ that. I will post pics when I do.
